The Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna in Pisa was the venue of an EU security training course that I attended to be deployed as a short-term observer for the Pakistani parliamentary elections 2008. I never went to Pakistan because of the deteriorated security situation in this Asian country. Here are some impressions from there.
